It is a nonprofit organization located in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria with a focus on education and training, healthcare assistance and economic empowerment. It has implemented develop humanitarian interventions aimed at improving the living conditions of the Widows, orphans and vulnerable children (especially girls child), and women in the society. It aims to provide quality education for underprivileged people the rural areas of the State in particular and the country in general.
to mark the beginning of 2020 education year held at Rimi Uku Lafia, Hon Aliyu Bello who is the founder and the CEO of the Foundation revealed that so far the Foundation has graduated many students in various fields at both levels of education. already one member of the Foundation is a PhD holder now. While enjoining politicians to cultivate the habit giving to the needy especially on aspect educational empowerment of our youth, Hon Bello informed the gathering that he has never save money in his life.
He stressed that all that he gets as goodwill from people goes down to empowerment of youth, adding that of all beneficiaries of the foundation, he knows less than one percent, the remaining ninety nine percent are children of the less privileged whom he doesn’t know. Hon Bello who expressed appreciation on the role played by women in the last general election, revealed however that the foundation will in next one month will come up with a programme specifically designed to empower women. Various speakers at the occasion extolled the good Virtues of Hon Bello, saying that he (Hon Bello) will for years to come be remembered as a politician who doesn’t discriminate on basis of tribe or religion. “Hon Aliyu Bello’s concern for the less privileged is unparalleled” says Hon Aminu Muazu, chairman Lafia Local Government Council. Speaking in the same vain, Hon Aliyu Ahmed Wadada, former member of House of Representatives commended Hon Aliyu Bello for coming up with educational foundation to take care of the children of the less privileged in the society. Hon Wadada who described the foundation as second to none in the state urged Hon Bello to continue keeping the flag flying, not to be distracted by the antics of the few. The occasion was attended by high caliber of people in politics and in business in Nasarawa state which include the governor of Nasarawa state Engr -Abdullahi A. Sule who donated N2million and 5 sets of computers to the foundation.
